Fishing in June is always a good time, depending on the water temp and weed growth, spinners & worms are always a go-to rig. The weed edges are a key factor.
There are always fish in the deeper water, but fewer anglers target them, they can be taken with cranks, remembering to watch for optimum temps for walleye and not to fish below them.
The board has been quiet as of late, but there was chatter in May & June that you could search for previous posts to get an idea as what went on this year and in the past.
Watch the board next year before you travel up and see what's happening.
