I decided to get out this morning since the weather was hot for a change and the winds were down. The day started out good with a smallie launching out of the water and throwing the hook within 10 minutes of leaving the launch. after 20 mins i land my 1st one of the day, which is a little 1 lb'er. I move to new location and and see what i think is a decent bass cruising the bottom, so i pitch the drop shot right in front and WHACK!!! what a great fight. After launching out of the water numerous times i get my son to net this beauty smallie for me. My new personal best at 6.01 Lbs. Right after a re-bait of the hook and next cast i hook a 3.5 lb'er. After that there was a couple 2-2.5 lb smallies that were landed and ended the day with 15 lbs of smallies caught. What a great day on the St. Lawrence.
