Photobucket is a great tool, FREE, and easy to use. Drag-and-drop the photos you want to share online into the upload tool and done.......then all you need to do is make the ""link"" that, this, and many other forums can consume. To do this, click the IMG area to the right of your photo and then CTRL+V (paste) into the reply\new message body of a quintefishing.com forum post. Use the "Preview" function in quintefishing.com to make sure what you want to post is actually going to work as you intend.

You need to highlight the URL code and select copy then on your post where you want the picture to appear hit paste . Then the URL image code should be in your post , hit preview to make sure it works then if it did hit submit .

This will be no help for you now, but for future pictures, you should be able to set the size of the picture on your camera. I set mine to small (640x480) I believe, and you will no longer have to try and shrink them down.

If you use tapatalk app from iPhone or Android you can upload pics direct from there to the forum. Way easier if pics are on your phone. If not you can email them to yourself and save to your phone. Then upload that way. Much easier than messin around with external sites in my opinion

Thankyou all for your help. Managed to post some pictures, my only glich was that the URL address accompanied most photos at first(after working on them, I managed to reduce this a little. Then when I read, the posted post, I can click on the address, and I'm suddenly in my photobucket(anyone can access my account)and view every photo, some of which I may not want to post.....is this normal?

A tip to get rid of the access to your Photo Bucket Album is to reduce the amount of coding in the copied 'Image'

All that is needed is the get rid of the stuff at the beginning {url} and the last {/url}

It sound complicated but it's not.

Don't do what I did and copied the thumbnail picture.

Cheers
