Just a quick update but with myself there is now 15 teams, wow for this late in the yr this is already a good turnout. I know of at least 3 more teams possibly coming and am thinking likely end up around 20. Fantastic way to end the yr and it looks as if saturday will be a decent day too biot.

Sounds like 20 k with 32 gusts from nw. It's the bay of Quinte and if u fish it much at all its prob worse then that for most of the days on the water.
Just sayin,

Paul

Will post results from today prob tomorow but a great day on the water with some good weights and a real road being caught for big fish.
Had 16 boats participate with very little rain to have to deal with.
Winds were not bad at all either as it turned to North around noon and ended up feeling much colder then the am but coming from the north it seemed as if it wasn't even there for the remainder of the day.
A big thanks to Brian Quincey for stepping up and being the weigh master and Dave Young for bringing the scale along.

Paul

So here we go with the results,

Jeremy Bench/Kent Foley 5 fish for 19.24 lbs and first place,
Paul McTaggart/Jordan Yarrow 5 fish for 18.46 lbs and second,
Jim Coverley/ sorry don't have partners name 5 fish for 18.15 lbs and third,
Big fish winners at 5.48 lbs were Jeremy Bench/Kent Foley worth $160,
First paid out $400, second $240 and third $160.
We had 16 teams and a great day on the water with 8 of the 16 teams weighing in over 16 lbs.
Had a great day and met some great people and a special thanks again going out to Brian Quincey for being weigh master and Dave Young for bringing the scale!

Hope to see u all next yr and maybe just throw this out there I am thinking about running a live release Tourny on the Bay of Quinte for walleye through the ice!!!!!!!

Be safe and talk later.

Paul

Lol well I think we are a month or two away from ice yet on the Quinte but I don't see why we can't run one!
Toooooo many people been talking way tooooooo long about doing it and so I may as well take one of these on too.

I'm sure you'll get a good turnout for an Ice Tourney. I'd be in for sure.

Ya I think I would have real good numbers ESP when I run it similiar to the way they run the big one on simcoe with it being live release!! Everyone will likely want to attend, at least that's what I'm thinking. It's a long way away and I know one of the big bones of contention is the insurance but maybe make it in big bay of hay bay where there are lots of ice most winters!
Any how I should of made mention of Kevin J and his partner having a real good bag yesterday at 17.93 to fishing in fourth and Brian Quincey and Curtis in 5 th with 17.21
Some real decent bags of fish for this time of yr. Great job guys!!
