My fishing buddy and I are coming out to pull reef runners etc behind boards on Nov 13 - 15. We have had marginal success in the past but the rest of you guys seem to do much better. We reference the trolling "bible" for depths and try different speeds.
I'm looking for excuses now and think the water temp might not be low enough in mid November as a general rule.
What is the water temp that bring the biggun's into the bay and turn the walleye on in the fall?

I like it once the water hits the 40's colder the better. Over the last few years I find the later I come down in the fall the better. Fished in December with my best results hopefully it will be good for a couple soft water trips yet. Hope this helps best of luck.

I will also be out on the 15Th.
