Made it up for my annual fishing trip, but was only up for 2 days of fishing this year. Even though the winds were high we managed to still get out with a 14' aluminum, just moved around to find shelter from the wind.
We managed 9 for 9 on the 21st and 6 for 7 on the 22nd. Biggest one being 11.52lbs.
We stocked up on the hot colors from the previous 2 years, but like normal, they weren't so hot this year.
By far the hotest colors were grey ghost reef runner and a orange/chartruese reef runner. Usually anything with purple was good, but no hits on purple.
Tried td11's and 9's with not one hit. Reef runners beat out rapala this year.
200' behind the board caught 90% of the fish, until later on in the afternoon, it was 150'.
Several double headers this time which was fun.
All fish were caught by Keiths shoal up to the bat cave.

Another good year.
Thanks to my fishing partner Stan.

Be safe out there.
Steve

Purple was terrible this year, but it's hard to pull a spread without at least one something in purple.

16 fish in two days is solid.. and looks like the size is showing up. Good stuff!

Good fishin guys... Last year we did our 3 day trip at this same time and did pretty good. Not the numbers you guys had, but some decent size. This year we came down 2 weeks earlier (Nov 6-8) and didn't do so good. Next year will definitely be towards the end of the month again.
Thanks for the report!!

Now's the time - always better the colder it gets!

SFgravel - you might want to adjust your camera or your phone to make your pictures bigger - they are barely thumbnail sized, and big fish deserve big pictures! Nice work, good thing someone's finally gettin' 'em.

The pics on my phone are great, had to make them smaller to be able to post on the sight. I agree the quality isn't the best, on the site.
