Quinte Fishing

I had a blast! The wife dropped me off at a spot we had scoped out the night before and I had 3.2-4 " today when I hit the ice for the first time this year. Within in my first 20 minutes I had my first hit. I lost him at the hole but he was a good 8'ld pike, used a red jiggin rap with minnow. ( snapped me, I'm running light tackle 6lb ).

2nd hit came at 4:50 and landed a 11" perch. It was good to land one and test out my equipment before the freeze coming soon.

Soon after the perch I felt another hit... not once but twice, game was on... 3/4 hit he was mine and had landed my first pike of the season. Hope I can figure out how to post pics again.. LOL The wife just gave me an early Xmas gift today ( GoPro Hero 4 Silver). and I'm to stupid to know how to use it !! Wish I'd a had the first pike on video .
