my buddy kim has some of the stretch 25. personal i think that's all you need. with the 30, if you caught any with them. you may be getting into that topic about air blader poping and fizzing, that was on this site, or the other site, fishhawk. could be wrong. i have a lot of the stretch 20's and i just pick up 4 of rapala ddt 11 which go down to 30 feet. for me thats good enough. and i have all week starting on saturday to test them out. happy fishing, see you on the water, walleyedreamer. ps think this one will go after the stretch 30,s lolImage[/img]

Just wanted to note that just cause a bait can dive to 30+ doesnt mean it has to be used at that depth. I like the idea of a big bait like that but presented at about 12-15 feet. Just a bit of line out then snap on the planer board. I think alot of guys would be suprised how many fish are up high.

Hey Superdad
While doing my work here in BC.....I have seen these massive jigs for halibut that look more like a weapon than a fishing lure. I wish I could show you one.

Regards
Don Stokes

Good point Dan, I think we all forget that even though we cant see the fish on our finders..they are often there in that top level...i know many who run the shallow running lures at a depth of 10 feet and do very well on the 'eyes. Long lines and out from the boat
