My neighbour and I went around checking ice on the bay today mostly 3"-4" near the shore (50m) then thinning out quicker, nothing we want to venture out on. We were thinking about traveling up to Stoco in the morning, just wondering how it is and if anyone has been on it in the last few days?

Well here is what we found this morning.. was a big pressure crack (black) that followed the current, we crossed it by about 10' and the spud went through like butter so we stayed to the west of it. Nice black ice everywhere, was really singing at 6am.
