I was out today with my son just east of Shermans and we hit a few perch but we where only in twelve feet of water anD we had between 3 to 5 inches of ice.We are heading bacK out tommorow and should be able to get out deeper as we are makeing ice big time.Iam standing out on back decK listening to ice cracked away.I would so to all travelers thinking of heading up on the weekend that you can find some fishable ice around but be cafe full always.good luck all and bundle up
