Quinte Fishing

Seems this board was ALOT busier last year and especially in 2012 compared to now....... is there another forum that QUINTE walleye guys are using?

I lurk alot, I am heading down to Hay Bay tomorrow and monday, hope to have a nice report. It has been way too long. Last year I had already been out 4 times by now, this will be my first hardwater trip this season...

Out fishing... shermans and huffs were busy today.. lots of guys out.. no fish for me, didn't see any one else catch any.

I think the main guys dont post much because people are figuring out there secret hot spots and there not so secret now. It seems when people say " there hitting at potters" with 20 guys out there- tomorrow theres 100 guys... I share with close friends if the fish are biting but will not post much here! I just like to see the pics of the fish caught...

I agree with king. allot of regular internet fishing board poster's have stopped due to this exact reason. people were tired of giving out all kinds of specific's when allot of times the favor is not returned. this isn't the only board that's happened to.....look at spoonpullers....it's almost devoid of reports these days.

Yep sad to say but forums are becoming a thing of the past ....

Husky_Jerk....True, FB is easier, I share more on there but again these are friends and they reciprocate with ease, we don't jump all over a post made or if we disagree it's in private not in an open forum..

I think anglers are less willing to share spots as the next day everyone shows up at your spot. When I pull up my google analytics data for the site for the period of Dec 11/2014 - Jan 11/2015 it shows 38780 visits. Certainly lots of views. Personally, I like to help out folks and share within reason.

I concur, I think I would share more if a bunch of meat slayers didn't show up the next morning. Having said that, I'd like to thank those who have shared. There is wealth of information here and great fishery, as long as we all learn to respect it and not rape it.
