I am out by the marker bouy off of Weese Rd and there is a solid 10 inches
of black ice. The is a pressure crack heaving up a couple of inches about
half way to it but lots of ice all the way out. Very windy. Be careful everyone.

2 other huts out near us. They landed 2 & 1. They both said 8 inches of
ice. Lots of banging and popping. She's makin' ice!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys!
Been yesterday, Saturday by the narrows...very windy all day but the hut was doing great...we went 3 for 4, lost one at the hole, ice is 8-9 inches thick, good black ice with lots of small pressure cracks but no problems at all. We were on foot but seen atv's and skii doo's.
Cheers!

Gino
