Honestly guys. I really don't think this is isolated to huffs parking. its like this in most places the better the fishing, the worse it is........ potters is a small lot then you see 75 cars try to jam into a 35 car lot. peats point. same thing....... Mass...... who hasn't heard about what goes on with garbage at point ann. ive seen 50 cars with tickets on them at big island before Wagers farm put in parking......... people still park on the road right under no parking signs just like husky said he did at huffs and got no ticket .... quick short road used to have 100 car on it that road is no different than huffs access .......its no secret guys....... there is very limited parking all up and down the bay.......... Tim made a beautiful map of all the best fishing spots from the reach all the way to Trenton showing the whole internet world where to fish, and now he realizes its hard to find parking......... ive always had the thought that there is good fishing all over the bay this board will confirm it with its posts on a good day people are catching from end to end, yet there is still the same parking places parking areas have not grown an inch only thing that's grown is fishing pressure.......... this whole issue is not a Huffs Issue, its a BOQ issue

The hole area has no parking signs, there is a opp officer that lives on huff's road.
not paying to park there is a gamble. i pay the $5, after the $20 (round trip) for gas to get there plus minnows, etc.
realistically this is very cheap to me compared to boat days.

I believe the bay has 2x plus the fishing pressure in the winter.

Personally,I think the municipalities around the Bay should bend over backwards to find and maintain free parking, perhaps fine the litterbugs, not the parked cars. When there are residents that live there however, sometimes change in certain areas is inevitable.Though,I think the municipalities should still at least attempt to resolve any issues. As for the person criticizing Tylercurt's opinion,(BEFORE IT WAS EDITED )he has contributed more to this board than you ever will. It's not your opposition to his post that irritates me ,your welcome to it,it's your insulting approach.....shame on you.

Agreed, Tim is probably the most helpful poster on this forum.

The goal of this community is to have a place to network , post, share get info etc.. Noi one is going to do that if they get personal insults thrown at them. Express your opinion but do so in a way that invites discussion not sends them away.
