Just be thankful you got you got a ticket!!!
Last year while fishing Wellers I had my vehicle towed by the county, for "apparent" snow removal. I returned to my vehicle around 11am and it was gone!!! I called the police and they told me what happened. I then called the tow-truck company and they told me they had my vehicle, BUT................ They ripped the oil pan off my vehicle when they towed it. To make a long story short the tow truck company fixed me up, and I was back in the vehicle 3days later!!!!!!
What I don't get in my instance is I was parked on county land, with absolutely no NO Parking signs, and I was in the middle of no where in minus 15 temps!!! And probably a 5 mile walk to any nearest store.
What if I didn't have a cell phone??? Whol makes the call to just tow a vehicle???? Is it the plow driver or a supervisor from the county??? Complete idiot move on whomever made that call.
after I got this show all sorted out around noon, I walked back out and set my hut up. My wife had to come from Peterborough to pick me up. So remember things can always be worse.
I see that you had it real bad, that's why I didn't park on main road shoulder on Monday in case of snow plough. I took a chance and done it for years
but it appears that somebody calls and reports on regular bases. Last year I used $5 parking but it was empty in the morning and I wasn't sure
it is allowed this year.
Ticket isn't a big deals but sucks at the end of a pleasant day.
