Has anyone launched at Point Anne and crossed Big Bay on sled or atv to fish? It's a long drive around for me to launch at wagers. Thanks!

Me too. Wonder if the gentleman with the Argo who I met last season has made the trip this year yet. Hope he is part of this forum? Saw pressure ridge at Point Anne and what looks like more out by the red bouye that may put a hold on any travel there???
Don't want to be the first to transit but sure hope it will/is safe to do soon

It's safe to cross. Nice and smooth no crazy pressure cracks

Pretty sad, fishinmagician post more ice reports and info than most do and he asks a simple question not even about hot spots or anything 430 views and not one piece of info. I know alot of people dont like posting ice reports because of his drastic ice changes in the bay but someone shoulda had some info.

Tyler,

There was a lot of talk earlier on about a big pressure crack in that area and probably like yourself and 429 others including me, they didn't know either.

A big thanks to FishinMagician for letting everyone know after he found out.

Made the cross again tonight with the sled. Suitable for atv aswell. There was a truck that made the cross too.

Thanks for the information. We are heading that way in a few weeks for a few days. Does anyone know the ice conditions around Muscote bay, we are staying at a friends along the south shore and want to make sure its safe for ATV travel towards Big bay, along the west side of Big island. We've never fished that area before and aren't sure what the current is like, just want to make sure there are no spots that would be an issue. Thanks in advance.

You'll be just fine if weather stays like this.
