Has anybody cleaned a pickerel with those wart like growths on it? I always send them back down the hole when I get them, but was curious if the growths are only on the skin or if they go right into the flesh? I don't have a photo of the growths , but I am sure that others have seen them as well.

My brother caught around a 4-5lber on the weekend and it had prolly 5-6 growths on it. I was cleaning fish back at the cabin and I was like. "What the hell did u keep this thing for"???? Ugly looking thing but I cleaned it and everything looked fine in the inside! I made sure that went home in his bag of fillets!

Still laughing, but yeah like that "beauty". I have seen a couple this year through the ice like that, I don't even like touching them with growths like that. :o
