Hit county shores the last two mornings what a slow bite marked maybe four fish in the two outings with only one bite. Was right by the red can and only seen two fish on the ice in the last two days. I was talking to a few guys there and they said they have had the same luck.

I found it's pretty much a morning bite. How much ice was at the bouy? Anyone fishing down towards big bay? I have done pretty well a couple km to the east in the afternoons.

thanks

I've fished Trident Pt for the last 12 days and during the first 7 week I iced 18 walleye. What a great way to start the hard water season! This past week has been brutal because I've only caught 2 and the worst part is that I'm not even marking them. Last week I would mark all kinds of lookers with 20 willing to bite (I missed 2 at the hole) and this past week I may have marked 10 fish in total. Gotta keep trying so I'll be back at it again in the morning. Good luck out there.

I took my wife out this morning to potters. We went 2-300 yards east of the green can, and we got 1 each. 3-4 lbs. we didn't mark to much. Fire tiger snap rap, and a freedom spoon took the 2 fish

I usually set up about 125 to 150 yds due east of can. right on the break, usually do good first 2hrs of light then slow. Iced 8 last sat..Too many people at the can.
