I was wondering if anyone has fished Huff's this week and knows how the bite is. I was thinking of taking my dad out tomorrow, I usually fish Big bay but was down at huffs earlier this season and did well, it's a short walk out there so it would be good for my dad as he is pushing 70. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated. I hope everyone is having a good season so far best of luck on the hard stuff.

My son-in-law did well there on Tuesday morning. I went Wednesday morning, same spot, and nothing. Never marked a fish.
That's fishing.

Was VERY slow bite at Huffs today
So much so wont be back

Caught a big pike...and only some very small marks on and off during day

very few fish were caught as far as we could see....morning bite appeared to be better than dusk

Should be able to catch fish up here ALL DAY LONG

Quinte is a world class fishery. U can't expect any fishery to be on all the time. The bite goes on and off all the time.

That's why its called fishin not catching. There is a lot more to fishing than catching fish.

Werx, perhaps u are in the wrong sport.

Try Shermans point. Just down past huffs. They are biting there and you don't need to walk out very far..

If all QUINTE has to offer is a tiny am and pm bite window that's PATHETIC

not sure what all the hype's about

That's the funny thing, guys always pack it in after the morning bite and come back out for the evening bite. Last year I would get off of work at 11 am on Fridays and be setup for noon, and marking within a half hour. It was usually good action until 2 pm then it would die down again until the sunset bite. ( my best day was 7 fish in 3.5 hrs, which I consider great fishing ).
