Hey everyone, have been out all last week and all weekend with nothing to show for it. Been fishing in underdonks, 6am till 8pm with little to no marks. Have caught a few trophy 6-8" walleyes, has anyone else been picking these up? Tons of perch around so lotes of feed. Would love to hear if anyone else is picking anything up in the trenton area. Thanks everyone and good luck all.

Fished the mouth of the trent rite at the first red buoy all weekend and nothing...couldn't even pay a perch to stop by for a visit. this is my second year on the hard water and I've never put a fish on the ice I was in about 18 feet ish (used my line to measure hard to tell with the current) with a mid sized gold spoon and a minnow about 6 to 12 inches off bottom giving aggressive snap jigs and occasionally letting my spoon hit bottom to stir up some silt...but not a thing... I tried some finesse jigging too...nothing

I fish the river mouth in spring and fall and usally do quite well. Were u were fishing is about 14-17' depending on water level. I do well along the park wall, drifting out to the red bouy. But that is spring and fall. To be honest, i dont like the inconsistant ice thickness the river produces, so i dont fish it in the winter. Ive been moving around in my portable hut but havent found fish. Ive also got a solid hut out, which allows me to watch my lure untill dark and i havent even had a walleye swim threw. I think the shallower water with clear ice is to bright for the walleyes causing them to be buried in thick weeds. Its just a guess thou. So just need to feel a tight line, lol its been a long week.

I fished onderdonks sunday and ended up with 5 eyes. One of which being 7.3 lb's. Another was 5 and change and the rest around 1.5-2.

That's always been a bit of a dead zone for me. I'm east of where you were.

What an awesome photo, I wish I had done that with the fish I caught on Saturday. I launched out of aikens ( which isn't far from onderdunks really ) on Saturday and managed to land 3 , and lost 3 .
