I have been marking fish trying everything had one hit yesterday. My bud had one come up 13ft then turn back. The fish seem to be half an inch away from the dam bait grrrr:cry:

I had this happening aswell, fish around but no bites, but when they hit they were perch. Almost every good mark that seems interested that follows up has been a Wally. Could be perch playing around although every big mark hasn't hit for me, even had them up 16ft and down a couple times. Grrr

scale down to perch size baits - we found the same thing, until we downsized.. then WHAM!!!

and fish AFTER dark til 6:30 with GLOWS :)

In current it would be hard to see a bait that small on my graph i guess slap a sinker a few feet from the bait eh?

Used lots of bigger lures last week with little action, switched to Little Cleos tipped with two mudder minnows and the game switched, lots of interest.
Silver lures with various stripes of colour. landed 2 and missed a few hook ups. That said only on the ice 3 hours during mid afternoon.
