Anyone know where i can buy a 5lb or 10lb propane tank?

I'm probably a little late for this one...
I picked up a 10pb tank yesterday from rose bush (I think that's right) propane, east of belleville just a minute past old Kingston rd on highway 2.

$40 filled and I bought the attachment hose for $30 from Canadian tire

Wow. Just ordered an 11lb tank from CT. They had no idea they even sold them. Clueless.

purchased the 11lb tank this week as well at CTC $58 ( pricey)
BUDDY HEATER hose was $29

opening doors in ice shack to cool down, and no longer paying $5+ per lbs for Propane = PRICELESS :)

no more FURRY 1lb bottles - best $100 I've ever spent!

NEXT QUESTION: - Does anyone know who TOPS OFF these smaller tanks in the Prescott to Napanee area?? - thank you

CTC wants to chage FLAT RATE for 10lb bottle refill, regardless of what's in tank

Just go to the gas station north of Petro Canada on 62 on the opposite side. They've always been reasonable in the past for filling my small tanks

Canadian Tire, 10lb $59, they even sell a 5lb both are around the same price but...I think the smaller one might just freeze up like the throw away green units they sell. No problems with the 10lb unit yet and a lot easier to transport.

Cheers Be safe!

thinice.. I've had my 5 lb tank for 6 years now and have never had it freeze up... I keep mine inside the hut as there is lots of room and the hut is insulted with reflectix, so I don't use as much propane as well.

I was not sure myself on the smaller unit freeze up, you would be correct...I keep mine outside the hut for room but I have heard horror stories about the throw away units and I was also trying to avoid refills as much as possible while being concerned about the size.

Cheers!
