A big thanks to The gentleman from the Quinte ice fishing team who
saw us coming in to Pointe Anne. The pressure crack had heaved up a good
6 ft in places with lots of water. He saw saw us going out earlier and realized it was our
headlights coming back that way. He went back out to warn us. Between the bunch
of us we managed to make our way off a good ways west of the point.
Thanks again. It is great to see everyone looking out for each other out
there. Be safe!!!!!

its right at the point anne access point. Dont worry you wont miss it. There will be trails showing where they are crossing over it. As you head on the ice head to the west end of the crack to cross over. Hope you are not using a vehicle as someone already tried that and ended up dropping the front axle through the ice and then had lots of damage done in the process of get it pulled out. At least lay some planks over the crack if you're using a vehicle

Well that's not good. Sounds like anybody going should bring a chainsaw and spuds to help make a crossing
