Anyone have an idea on ice and fishing out there
I know there's a launch on cut lane way up in the north end.

Been wondering the same thing........... on Navionics there are a number of large deep pools/holes EAST of RAM Island that should hold large numbers of staging fish

I have been asking for info from some of the guides but they are pretty TIGHT LIPPED about it .

Access looks pretty good in a few places where the SOUTH Shore road runs right beside the water.... you could just pull over off shoulder and hit a HONEY HOLE

Was looking at navionics as well.
Probably some current around ram.
Might take the spud bar and go for a walk monday.
I'm thinking the launch in the north end is way to shallow

There is current at ram for sure. Have never been there in winter but in soft water the current there is noticeable

Fished 22 feet last hole before the flats. 5 am to 6pm
Got 2 small pike, current changes direction through out the day 4 or 5 feet visibility.

Could just be slow.

Might try again towards shermons
