Quinte Fishing

hit the bay hard from Thurs aft to Sat night. Had some buddies come in and stayed at County Shores. Great pad for 4 guys for $120/night, and great hosts. Thurs night/Fri morn in front of CSs we marked little and caught 0. Decided to try Deseronto Fri night and again marked little and caught 0. Was looking pretty bad until an old fellow who calls himself Walleydreamer came by for a chat and ended up saving our trip. He jumped on the back of our quad and took us to a different spot in the Deseronto area Saturday FOR NOTHING! and we slammed them hard. I limited out with an 8, 6, 3, and 1 pounder. all came on a buckshot, but another 1/2 dozen came on a jigging rap and a side winder. Tks Walleydreamer for putting us on fish!!!

I have almost the same story about Walleye Dreamer AKA Larry. I have not ice fished for years, this year we, my wife & I, decided to spend some time on the water. I have been out 4 or 5 times, with out luck. We have never done much ice fishing.

Larry stopped by our hut, off of CS, and spent 1/2 hour or so giving us Bay of Quinte tips. We have not had the chance to try them out yet, as some of the tips were to change out lures for heavier ones.

Nice guy willing to help.

Yup Larry is a great guy, nice to hear he is still helping people out. Made my wife's and my weekend last year. Told us where to go for the aft bite at CS and hit fish all afternoon. Thanks again Larry
