Since nothing indicates there will be a 'Battle on the Bay' this winter, I presume there won't be one.

Too bad, but I understand the effort put into it in the past may have been too much for the organizers to continue. Last year's was cancelled due to inclement weather at the last minute, and it just didn't happen this year.

The past few years of meeting fishers on the Bay was a priceless opportunity, and I'm going to miss it.

So, I'll be at the Gold Star Derby on Feb. 21 and will look for familiar faces.

ya your not hard to pic out in a crowd thats for sure, i think with all this snow it would be a tough go to do the derby this year anyways. but like ya said its a good time seeing everybody
