Well better late then never. Finally got the old gang back together for a long awaited fishing trip. Myself, Quniteprince, the Wizard, a couple of the Wizards friends and a guy that goes by the name of Grizzly decided to get away and go down to County Shores and stay for the weekend. The Prince and I got there early Friday morning and decided to try the morning bite before the rest of our party got there.

We set up in 18 feet FOW. First couple of jigs and I had a big mark come in and slam the buckshot. After a brief battle a nice 8lber was top side. Only fished for until 9 as we had to meet up with the rest of the guys.

We went in to talk to the owners of County Shores so we could get into our accommodations. They were nothing short of excellent. We got over to the cottage and all of us were very impressed as to the condition of the cottage. The group we had are use to hunting and fishing trips, and as well all know sometimes the accommodations are not all they seem to be. County Shores on the other hand was like staying in a 5 star hotel. The house had 4 bedrooms, satellite TV, full kitchen, bathroom, and everything else that you would need to have a great weekend.

The owners were nothing short of spectacular. Their customer service and hospitality were second to none. We all would recommend them to anyone looking to have a great weekend away with great accommodations.

After getting settled in we took off on the AVT's out towards the red can and headed west. It was a tough bite but we still managed to get some fish. The bikes really had a workout getting through the foot and a half of snow and slush but they all made it. The fishing for the weekend was a tough bite but we still managed to have fun and catch some fish.

I can't seem to get the pics to load as they are to large to attach.

All in all we had a great weekend with great guys and an even better place to stay and would definately reccmmend them to anyone looking to stay and fish right on the bay. We will definately be going back next year.

Thanks again County Shores the weekend was nothing short of excellent.

Cheers,

Chris

Krista and Todd have worked hard redeveloping and improving the former Foster Fishing Centre. They are a credit to the Prince Edward County business community and their efforts should be applauded. Thank you Foster family!

I would definitely agree Parksy, they have really put a lot of time and effort into making a weekend for fisherman a very enjoyable experience.

How many beds were in each room?? I've stayed at Perfect Vue the last couple years and it was $270/night for 3 bedrooms. And trust me, it's nothing fancy... Although there was 2 beds in each room, so it can sleep 6 people. I've called them a couple times with no response, and it doesn't say too much on their website about the cottages.

Thanks

one double bed in each room, and a couch in the living room for whoever loses the coin toss. it's comfortable for 4!

The downstairs bedroom has a double bed. the upstairs bedroom at the top of the stairs had 2 single beds and there is a bedroom off of that with another double bed. and a pull out couch in the living room. We slept 5 very comfortably. Again, it was very clean with all amenities of home, including watching the leafs finally snap their losing streak on the satellite TV :P .

if anyone would like info feel free to PM me.

Cheers,

Chris

Awesome time with the boys.
Watch spox when playing poker !!!!
If someone could help putting pics up I'd show everyone what Quinte prince does with his walleye when he goes to bed. lol
Excellent accommodations and top notch people
Just a safety note.... There can be a pressure crack that sometimes opens up before the red can and check the ice carefully to the east !!!!!!
It gets dicey .
J.
