Spent last friday and saturday washing lures in the outer reach past the light house. Like alot of people it was a nice boat ride but the fishing bit!
No hits no fish!
3 boats running boards and taildancers and doctor deaths.
Marked lots of deep fish 50-80 feet down but didnt put the riggers down as I wanted to release the fish.
Anyway....to my question....what is the batcave?
I was looking at it and all I could figure was that it was an old mine shaft?
Does anyone know what it is...its humongus!!!!!

I'm not 100% certain of this, but have heard it's a lookout :!:

That's what I thought when we passed by it. Albeit, an EXPENSIVE boathouse.

Nice boat(s) in there during the summer when I fish that area.
Just think how hard it is to put in a dock today, the paper work to build that thing on the water must have been massive.

I would have to agree!!!
You would need a full blown environmental assessment for that.
Absolutely 0 chance of getting that nowadays. It took us 2 years to get an EA for a new water plant intake, and that is boared below the lake bottom.
You could fit a frigate in that thing!!
