Hey guys and gals. Read a posting at the dew drop in. Fishing tournament on Sunday. Your entry fee cost is a non parishable food. There's a free bbq lunch. And the winner gets a free guided salmon fishing trip im positive i read it correctly. And all the food donated goes towards the interval house in napanee. For more questions about the tournament contact the dew drop in. I feel it's a great tournament for the cost and prize. I am not sure if it was hidden weight or biggest. Just got to browse over the flyer.
The number for the dew drop in is 613-354-0008

Hi Paul I will contact you today,

Yes the grand prize is for hidden weight, between 2 and 6 lbs to promote the release of larger breeding fish. Many more prizes have been donated by local businesses in the area as well . bring extra canned food for tickets to the prize table.

A 2 night stay at Carefree Pickerel Park, necklace and earing set from Starlet, gift bag from Divine hair studio, gift certificate from the River Front Pub in Napanee, to name a few, and much much more.

free BBQ ( burgers and hotdogs) while supplies last starting at noon ish. Kids prizes and prize table will be drawn at noon as well due to the weather conditions expected. All fish must be back at the launch by 4pm , Hidden weight will be announced at 4pm ish.

10 minnows for a canned good item on site while supplies last. Or $5 (doz)

MNR on site around 11am for a question and answer period, and local napanee
fire department on site as well around 11am may do a demonstration of equipment.

hope to see you there

I stopped by to donate a prize and it was freezing cold. Applause to James for his efforts that day. He even helped get a hook out of someones finger. I talked to him today. No big fish but fun was had by all I'm sure. It's lots of work with little reward. Next year he will hopefully have more help and support and the weather will co-operate and it can become a bigger annual event.

Good job James

Thanks Paul for making it out on Sunday and thanks Scott for the nice words.

It was a cold day for sure but we did get a fair turnout despite the weather. I thank all who showed up despite the weather and congratulations to Greg from Dew Drop in who won the tournament with a nice walleye weighing in at 3.14lbs

James.
