Quinte Fishing

Wondering if anybody has been out on Loborough. Is there too much snow for ATV's to get through? Is anybody having any luck with lakers?

I was out yesterday and a tough walk. Got a late start but marked fish for about two hrs before it cleared. Couple chasers as usual but no hits. The hike itself was tough. Not sure a quad would do it, especially without chains. Sleds ok. Some slush in spots but overall not too bad.

Leave your ATV at home.

Tried Sunday. Tough slugging for walking. Fished 75-80 ft of water near the Sydenham end of the lake. Tried jigging and dead baiting with big chubs. Nothing on either. Marked very few fish. Few others out as well but didn't see any fish caught. They mostly packed up and left by 11 am so I'm guessing they were having similar luck. Guess I should have gone to Quinte for one last crack at the walleyes. Maybe this weekend.
