Can anyone tell me if I'm able to park at the end the the street by the deseronto bridge , looking to fish it in the morning ?

Theres a parking area just to the East about 400 yards or so.

I would be careful of the ice. all of this snow insulating the ice and the current at the bridge can make the ice very sketchy. i was there 2 weeks before we got dumped with snow, and we were on anywhere from 3"-7" just in very short distances.

Five years ago I was fishing on 8" by the bridge, nothing biting, walked about 25' got into slush drilled a hole still had 4" of ice, walked about 8" BANG went through, so be extremely careful, If you don't have a flotation suit I wouldn"t even think of stepping on the ice anywhere on the Bay of Quinte. Where is the parking area by the bridge, I have bever seen one, only the road on ferry lane, that is sighned, room for about 4 vehicles at the end.

Thanks a lot for the replies , I'm always very careful checking my way .. Heard it was sketchy decided to try county chores instead ..marked a few , got one around 2 pounds , lots of perch around , 17 fow !
