I'm new to this forum and ice fishing on Quinte. Is there safe ice in area off Loyalist Parkway and Hatchery Lane?

I know loyalist is good, don't know where hatchery is though...
You might find some better holes east of there though.

Hatchery lane is off glenora at the ferry and it's highly unlikely. That end of the bay is mostly unsafe ice except maybe for some back bays and such. I wouldn't try it.

Thanks for the reply SlowN steady. Haven't fished that area, thinking the fall trollers do well there, may still be some eyes in that area.

Thanks for the advice Swiftdeer. Do not want to end up in the drink. Must be a lot of current in that area.

and the ferry keeps the ice open. I'm probably heading to potters on Sunday if you are interested. Orange pop up. Feel free to stop by and say hi
