I just got off the phone with Kevin at Merland Park... I had a couple of guys booked who can't make it now which means that Kevin has the loft available for Friday and Saturday. I stayed there last weekend, it now has 4 singles and a bunk bed - enough for 6 more guys to throw their money in the pot. Merland's phone number is (613) 476-6894 if you're interested.

The good news is that A.B. (a.k.a. horseshoes) cancelled out which means that he won't be back to defend his title from last year.

Kevin also indicated that he has 1 - 2 bedroom available for Friday night. If you're looking to get an early start and only plan on fishing the derby on Saturday it would be a good option.

Does anyone know if the Dairy Farmer's coming back to defend his title?

I'll be heading up on Thursday for a pre-fish, is anyone else showing up early?

Hey Old Princecraft, nice to hear from you, I will be up Friday. I look forward to having a pint with you. I sure hope the dairy farmer is there,
man he was loads of fun. I think he may want another arm wrestle with your buddy from Oakville.

See you soon man! Fingers crossed for dry roads, right now we are in a blizzard and I can barely see the boat in the driverway.

Jim

Dan -The boat is still running - she ain't pretty but she runs good. Next year we'll have to throw her in the pot for first place, along with a quintefishing.com cap. (Either that or I'll have to leave her for Kevin to cover for the guys that cancelled)

Jimbo - If Bob Suzuki doesn't show this year you better make sure that Patio comes with bells on - he'll have a hard act to beat to one-up last year.

I'll be heading up Thursday, but from the looks of things we might be there just to make sure that Kevin has a good hangover on Friday. The forecast is for wind rolling in at 55k....Good news is that Saturday looks pretty good and the water should be coolin down.

Either of you planning on bringing an extra 4 guys?

LOL I will never forget the Suziki rant, in fact I recorded a good part of it.
Patio will be there and he should do an ample job of filling in for Mr Redman. Especially if you ask him about the double header....

Sorry we are maxed at 7 fisherman, couldn't scrape up any more candidates.

See you at Merlands, still have my CC Shad?

Jimbo :)
