going to calabogie in may fishing in the lake what should I expect to catch

Pike, Bass, Walleye, Chanel Cats and Crappie are all in the lake.......Grassy Bay for the Pike....check the regulations carefully as there are restricted sanctuary areas for the first two or three weeks of May... I believe one is the inflow of the river(Madawaska).May would be too early for the Bass but dependent upon the exact time in May your going everything else would be open, (after the first few weeks of May.)(3rd Sat.)

I think there is a slot size on walleye there also make sure you check the regs real well to avoid the game wardens giving you grief.
