Land access to the river itself.... They have decided to "dig" up the ice from the river to prevent flooding

Was there late yesterday, still pretty frozen below the tracks, they got the marina cranes to lift some of the chunks into piles, but the only open area down below the tracks was that west side wall right by the tracks....and it was not very lengthy...Perhaps the open water through town will help speed up the thaw? Parking lot(west) was taped off, as was the lower pedestrian bridge, but probably the tape may be gone now.

fished Sunday/Monday river is completely open including boat launch for the boys who want to get out for browns and bows. fishing is spectacular fish everywhere from the willows and down through the trench in the deeper water which I found was most productive. However there is a small problem lol
you are getting limited hours on the river because the river will get very dirty by afternoon.
There is still snow melting and running off into the river as the day goes along
