April right around the bend. Anyone predicting ice out?

I figure April 20. The main rivers should be heating up soon I hope, but the forecasts are still calling for cold.

Was down at Big Bay yesterday. It was still solid as far as I could see. We are at my wife's sisters place out in Campbellford and it snowed last night. It is still on the ground but slowly melting.

Be interesting if it clears for the end of the month.

Regards

Ice will be gone by this weekend, I've been watching it everyday going over the bay bridge , and these last few days it has opened up quite a bit . Won't be long now !!

I agree with this weekend. We were down Friday and Saturday and it was amazing how fast the ice went on Napanee river and in the reach. Also from ram island down to fitchett road also cleared in the 2 days we were there.

Ice is out in front of my place on Hay Bay. Also last night there were a lot of walleye along the shore, I am assuming that the spawn has begun.
