Looking a little cold for the rainbow open this weekend and curious if anyone use a buddy heater in a regular camping tent safely?
Want to enjoy the rainbow weekend not have friends attending a funeral service it would really ruin the weekend
cheerz

I have a big tent that fits 2 double air mattresses. I only set up one mattress so I have a ton of floor space left. It's a great spot to put all my clothes and other gear I can't leave outside. It's also a great spot for a buddy heater. Just make sure you put a board under the heater or put it up on a milk crate or it will melt a hole through the floor of the tent. And there is enough air flow through the tents with the sides being all mesh and just a rain fly over you'll be fine. But if you put a tarp over tent and suck it down tight open the door a crack at the bottom and top so the air can circulate. I'm still alive and I use it in my air tight ice hut haha. It has a low oxygen shut off too which is nice. Always shuts off in my ice hut.

thks guys for the feedback
I still have my reservation in port hope at the comfort inn but really enjoy the free camping on the river in port hope with immediate access to the river but more importantly the social aspect with a few beverages!! still looking pretty cold on the overnight but using the heater to get out the dampness before sleeping will probably be beneficial
thks

Always camped the opener in Algonquin. Seen every conditional out there - snow, sleet, hail, and rain, and never ever considered a heater. If you want to be warm at night, bring a good sleeping bag.

Use mine in a pop up hunting blind with no issues. Then again, its well ventilated considering I am looking out a screen. And probably for only an hour or so at a time.
