You know I just don't get our logic sometimes.

The Big Island Marsh rehabilitation is the result of a carbon offset from another job. They took hundreds and probably thousands of dump truck loads of the marsh out in the middle of winter. Just drive out on the frozen marsh and took scoop after scoop of marsh to open up ponds in the marsh and create water flow through it. How many turtles, frogs and other animals were killed?

But building a road to a wind farm will kill to many turtles?

Just doesn't seem like any logic to me. Sounds more like people grasping for excuses to keep a project they don't want out of their back yard.

I'm not taking sides just saying the logic doesn't make any sense to me.

Well good on them if that's what it took to keep this project out of backyard. I am not taking sides but nothing has ruined the country side more than these wind mills. Have to be the ugliest thing to see or ruin a horizon, Kingston water front, south western Ont, Northern new York state to name a few. Like I said..............good day to be a turtle!!

I think I would dam up Niagara falls before trashing the great lakes. But I don't think they are looking for power, I think they are trying to replace the auto industry.
