Quinte Fishing

I am curious how the woodticks have fared through the winter, this year back home. I am hoping I can get some decent feedback, as I cannot seem to locate any solid information about this....so annedotal comments will have to do.

Here in the far west of Canada, it has been extremely bad to date this spring. An exceptionally mild winter is believed to be the culprit. Most south facing slopes in the mountains are nasty.

Well its been an exceptionally cold winter here, dont know how that'll effect their populations in the Quinte area, but I anticipate them being around like always. 20%++ Deet is your friend.

Understood, that some will still be around, but populations of most things expand and retract with weather and conditions.

At a distance, my hope is that it would set them back a few years, as opposed to my own belief, that has seen them expand in many places in Canada. Cold vs warm with home being hit hard and my work in the west being exceptionally pleasent this winter. So....I hope I get more observations from the field.
