I have been a member here for a few years now.
Never posted a lot but did so when the opportunity presented itself.

I have noticed over the last few months there appears to be a lot less posters and hundreds of viewers.

This used to be a great site for everything you wanted to know about fishing Quinte and surrounding lakes.

So my question stands.. Where has everyone gone?

Treasure, this question has come up here and a couple of other forums I visit. I dont think everyone has left. I run Google analytics on the board and from the period of april6th to may 6th the number of unique visits is 8275. I think in general folks post less on the internet, even facebook membership has been declining.

I think most regulars who fish the bay don't start until a few weeks after the season opens. At least thats when the fishing picks up. I know i don't like dragging spinners through the bay in the early season or fight perch off my worm laden bottom bouncer.

lots of lurkers, but i am sure everyone is still here.

I guess on that note, I have had some pretty good luck around the Belleville to big bay area after dark. Dragging cranks at sunset around some of the shoals is producing some nice post spawn fish. In typical fashion as every year, i mark LOTS of fish and bait just off the shoals hanging around, but they aren't biting before dark.. for me. I couldn't find a weed anywhere yet on any of the shoals or shores. Won't be long though !

Most people are fishing I presume.

I myself am restricted to lurking on the forum and living vicariously on others postings.

Going to get there soon. Just a matter of time.

Thanks biff for the update on offerings.
