Launched at point Anne with my two young lads about 7:30 after collecting our token bag of someone else's garbage/litter. Lines set on the east end of big bay by about 8:00.
Missed a few on the mini inline boards, and finally connected at about 10:00 on the rod running down the chute. Oldest boy landed a nice eater, at about 2lb s.
After a few more short strikes on the boards, hook up with another on the rod in the prop wash at about 11:00, and the younger son landed a 3-31/2 lber.
Around 12:00 the thoughts of dirt bikes and quads took precedence over fishing, so we packed her in.
Both fish came in shad body cranks (would have liked to try harnesses, but someone forgot the cooler with lunch and the worms....) temp about 66 deg.
Ran through all my usual structure spots with no takers. Marked fish scattered everywhere on the flats in 16-18 fow
