Quinte Fishing

Well I just got back from my annual walleye pilgramage to the walleye meca....Port Clinton Ohio. Met a couple of my American fishing freinds (Gary Speicher from Iowa, Tom Harrison and Chris Spiecher from Illinois) fished 6 days with fantastic weather and caught 81 walleye with 5 in the 29 inch range....(coudnt get a 30) trolling crawler harnesses with inline weights in 20-30 feet of water. That lake is amazing with fish always on the screen ( as some of the guys I sent pictures to will verify). We fished pretty hard (8 hour days) but not to hard ..we were on vacation after all. Every year for the last 4 I have said if we get a blow day we will go spend the day at the Rock and Roll hall of fame in Cleveland....maybe next year. This is a great trip for Walleye guys

Port Clinton is awesome!! I Ice fished it for the first time 2 years ago and will continue to go back!! Good to know the softwateR season is just as good!! Erie is just a beast in itself!! Soon enough the Wallys will be in port Burwell where I'm goin for a week this summer can't wait!! 50 Fish days are not unheard of there!
