If you like to read everything you're asking can be found here. The last few years include results from the angler volunteer diary programming. http://www.glfc.org/lakecom/loc/mgmt_unit/

I don't believe so. I think the fish are moving in later. Seems like the ones that stay on the water in dec do much better than nov. I think water temps are too warm in nov lately.

Location: West Lake, ON
I think there has been a decline to some extent but nothing catastrophic. The internet really doesn't help any fishery. It is so easy these days to get locations and patterns and that significantly contributes to harvest.

That being said the last two falls have had some slow days but no skunks and some real good days mixed in. In terms of trophy walleye I really don't think there is a better body of water in the world. I've had 2 Lake Erie charter captains catch personal best walleye in one day of fishing one Quinte. Lake Erie is certainly a walleye factory but when it comes to the best shot at a 13lb + fish. Quinte is in contention for the best in the world.

I agree with Scott.

Decline, but nothing major.

Later and later it seems..but then you can also get "too late". some of my january open water outings have been less than fruitful.

It would be interesting to see what the numbers would be like if the same amount of people fished December as do in November.

December is not an easy month to fish...especially some years.

it takes a special angler to head out in -15 and waves in December....especially after picton harbour and the ferry launch freezes (really, that's when the good fishing starts).

only bigger boats can launch at bath...

otherwise, its small boats only from adolphustown or pryners.

December can be a hairy adventure.
