Although I'm not a huge Bass fisherman, it's nice to see efforts to moniter various Ontario fish populations.

Information will be passed to Dr John Casselman Rob , I will have one of the grad students on board doing Telementry and radio tagging studies in the coming weeks , We are working in tandem with Queens doing reserch headed up by Muskies Canada

Thanks Bill, actually it is Bruce Tufts who is doing the bass tagging.

I was wondering if you would be helping with the musky tracking program. I wrote the protocol for it awhile back so it is good to see it starting now.

Do they just release the bass in front of the weigh station or take them back out near where they were caught?

From what I saw and understand is the norm, during the Kingston Open, they were released in the channel where the water is colder to help survival rate.

However, there have been tournaments around these waters every weekend for a while now including 3 a couple of weeks ago.
