Out trolling today I had a friend grab a rigger rod going. The fish took a good long first run and had a few more shorter bursts.

We were positive we had hooked into a sheep, and that it was a big one.

We landed the fish and got the boga grip scales on it first. 21 lbs. I got out the digital and it confirmed 21.06.

My first words. " too bad, close to the Ontario record " I thought it was 22 or 23 lbs.

It wasn't till the drive home we googled it. ..... 20.6lbs. Did I ever mess up

to resize the picture. on a computer with Windows open the file in Paint. Click resize, click pixel and change the horizontal or vertical number (whichever is larger) to a 1000. Then click ok and "save as". Type in a file name other than the original name or it will modify the original picture lowering the quality.

Ashley Ray caught this one on my boat years a go. We laugh and took a few pictures and released it. The next day I caught and released one I weighted at just over 18. I immediately thought this has to be 5 lbs smaller then Ashley's fish...BUT... We will never know. Lol.

If memory services me right Aaron Shirley caught and released one he weighted at 27 lbs. I can't remember for sure but I know that's the biggest I've heard of.

Here is Ashley's fish.
