Hey Folks,
Talking with Jim Hoyle the Biologist running the fall Walleye Diary program. He has received a number of volunteers for this year, but stilll a bit short on the numbers of participants. It really doesn't matter how many or few trips you make. I say that because I didn't participate the first year as I knew at the time I was only going to be able to get a few trips in. I told Jim that but he explained it is still useful data. Each piece of data helps fill in the big picture. That said if you have been opting not to participate because you only make it down a couple of times I hope I changed your mind. The Diary itself is very easy to fill in and they usually send you a boat towel and a copy of the report/findings. You out there fishing anyway why not help. Send him an email
Jim.hoyle@ontario.caDan - I've linked your above post to the ORWL web site in case any of our other members may be planning BOQ trips and are willing to participate.
