Any one know where or if there are launches on these lakes. They are both stocked lakes (splake) so there must be access from somewhere. I can't seem to find any info on public launches.

The MNR'S Fish On site shows boat ramps when you have the box checked, unfortuneately they didn't show ramps on either of those lakes when I quickly checked, ..... they also give you detailed directions to get there,....here is the boat ramp list for both south and north Frontenac.....Think Bedford amalgamated into South Frontenac, but I'm not sure.Try clicking on it and see if your desired lakes are on the map under South Frontenac south of 7.

Im familiar with both of these lakes.. As far as I know there are no public launches on these lakes.. There are township road allowances that go down to the lakes but walk in only.. I think if you check the lattest stocking reports that they do not stock them anymore because of no public access. I know Potspoon is not stocked for sure..

i am familiar with Potspoon, as i have family that live on the lake. Murphy Lane, is a road that goes down to the lake, but it is a private road. Actually it is who my family member is.
There is for sure NO public access into that lake.

Thank you. I rent a cottage on thirty island every year and the stocking stopped there a while back as well when they took the public access away. I can understand the reason they do this as the lakes are clean and have garbage free shores unlike the lakes with public access.
