Decided to head out to the reach on Sunday, to give the boat a good shake down.
Jay was to meet me at 0700 at Montreal St. and the 401. get a call 0630, he has a problem.
The receiver pin, pop out, Boat down.
Drive to Sunbury, with a pin from my truck.
Off we go. Get to Bath by 0800. Load boat, NO NET.
As we were just giving the boat and ourself a shake down, no problem. as were not excepting to catch any Walleye or fish at that.
Set up lines, with Reef runners and Husky Jerks, 20 minutes Fish on, second line pulls back, double header. Get first fish to boat, no net, the third line goes.
Get first fish on board by hand, go to third line, fish off. landed the second fish. Good start to the day.
Landed two more by noon, plus 3 Sheepshead, and 2 bass. Also something cut my line, Pike!!
We now have extra receiver pin, and net in boat.
