Hi guys,
Just a follow-up report for those that gave me such great help and recommendations. Unfortunately, it didn't lead to a single bite Nov 2-4.
We fished pretty much from the cement plant, out past the ferry, to Sherman's Shoal I believe it's called. Lots of boats, tons of fish marked, but all 50' or deeper. Passed many bait balls of minnows, and fished water from 25-75 deep.....again, once we were in 40-50 feet of water, marked a ton, but couldn't get them to go after anything. Deep Tail Dancers, Live Target Perch, and Reef Runners were mostly used. Straight lines, and planer boards.
We also tried down by the entrance to Hay Bay to switch things up.
Anyways, was still better than 3 days of work, but I guess we were a little early yet. The upper-teen temperatures sure didn't help, but couldn't ask for a better 3 days in November weather wise.
Again, thanks to all, and I hope to make it back in the spring for the opener, as the boat is now stored away.
