A recent meeting between the town and various other agencies, took place two weeks ago to move forward various ideas that council had, to control the problems associated with the fall run. These ideas included collecting fees, limiting access in certain areas, stopping night fishing and closing access in certain areas. After the meeting, it was decided , none of this will happen, for now. Attention will instead, be given to enforcement,.....training the Port Hope Police in Resource enforcement, an enforcement blitz, signage ect. Still a work in progress, final report due in early 2016
