Monday got out on the water around 10 am, went straight to the gap and marked fish right away. In 60 FOW we were markin fish all thru the water column even up to 15 ft. Trolled at 1 mph all the way past prinyers launch and shut down the mill at 4pm without so much as a single strike.

Tuesday got out around 9 am, and went out to lake ontario and weren't markin jack sh*t. Came back thru the reach and we're markin fish like the dickens but still couldn't trigger a strike to save our lives. Called it quits around 130. Will take tomorrow off and try again thursday if the weathers nice.

Maybe this time ill say my fish prayers on wednesday night and get some luck on thursday

It's a process, been here since Saturday, getting dialed in today for 3 hours, same lure for all the eyes, biggest 10.5 lbs. I been thru 25 combos of cranks, got one clicking, looking for another hot bait, gold thunderstick deep diver, 1.8 mph on gps, late morning bite last 2 days. I will post results end of week.

I think everyone is in the same boat. The fish are there but not feeding during the day. I had a good week last week but they have just shut off this week. Everyone I know is struggling.

Wife and I were there today as well and spent the whole time washing the lures but you couldn't beat the weather ! +17, very light winds and sunny in November no less!

My Dad and I a great day out yesterday at the gap and same thing here. we marked them, but not a touch. Tried everything from 6-60 feet down and even stopped and jigged for a while. As they say, they fishing was great, but the catching sucked :) It didn't really matter to us, it was just nice to get out together.

Welcome back Adventure, so glad that you were able to get out there with your dad and have a
great time. Back where you belong.

From what everyone is printing at least I was not the only one struggling yesterday. (Nov. 3) I Only get to Quinte once a year and yes the weather was great but the fish were jaw stuck. My question is when does Sherman's point start to hold fish ? Is it in the fall, summer or spring ? or does that spot not produce good results anymore. Also i tried using downriggers out in the reach since the finder was showing great numbers. Does anyone have luck with this system? If not what is the most productive system should i be trying if out at that type of deeper water?

Cheers

Last 3 days the limited bite for me happened around 11am to 1pm, I'm staying on fish till one goes, no sense leaving fish to find fish, you can see when they are parked at 60ft , and when they start sliding into 30 to 40ft.
